Our packaging carries a few medals, and people often ask what they are. Here is a plain explanation of the three competitions we enter, and the full list of what we have won.
International Chocolate Awards
An independent competition judged by chocolate professionals, run in regional rounds around the world. We enter the Asia-Pacific round. In 2021, our SuperCrema 54% hazelnut spread won Gold, our very first award. In 2023, two versions of our Chocolate Date-licious won Bronze.
AVPA, France
The Agence pour la Valorisation des Produits Agricoles is a French organisation that recognises agricultural products made with care at origin. Its chocolate competition is judged in France, and it is where our single-origin Malaysian bars have been recognised most often: ten awards between 2022 and 2026.
Academy of Chocolate, UK
A British competition founded by chocolate professionals to promote fine chocolate. Our Kuala Lipis bar won Bronze in 2025.
How the judging works
Chocolates are tasted blind, which means the judges do not know who made them. They score appearance, aroma, texture, flavour and finish. A small maker in Kuala Lumpur is tasted on exactly the same terms as a famous European house.

Why it matters to us
Awards do not make chocolate taste better. What they do is tell a farmer in Pahang or Perak that the cacao they grew stood next to the best in the world and held its own. Shop our award-winning bars.
